Norbreck sired bulls win at Castlewellan
Norbreck sired progeny claim first prizes in the bull classes at Castlewellan Show
JUDGE: Keith Belfield, Derbyshire
Always a great show, we were pleased to see a number of Norbeck Genetics sires with progeny at the top of the line up at Castlewellan. ALL the bull classes were won by Norbreck Genetics sired progeny - and we are delighted to report it was a trio of bulls winning first prizes and trophies:
- Junior bull class won by Oliver McCann – Drumboy Gizmo (sire Bluegrass Cyclone)
- Senior bull class won by E Gregg – Ballybollen Frosty (sire Norbreck Black Beauty)
- Ballybollen Frosty went on to take RESERVE OVERALL CHAMPION. He has always shown promise - winning the NI Blue Cattle Club Annual Calf Show last year -
.... and just to put the icing on the cake in :
THE IVAN PORTER-OSMONDS BRITISH BLUE YOUNG BULL CHAMPIONSHIP
Judge: Sam Milliken
1st – E Gregg – Ballybollen Grand Duke (Sire Empire D’Ochain)
Another tremendous Empire son shining through amongst tough competition.
