“Times like this we need each other – our team is here to support yours.”
From actively farming in Lancashire at Norbreck Farm, to running a world renowned semen company, Norbreck Genetics is at the heart of all things beef and dairy genetics. company director Philip Halhead is also a familiar face in many areas of the agricultural industry, from judging beef and dairy cattle, to speaking at various technical events.
Norbreck Genetics' home farm houses dairy cattle. We have invested heavily in high genetic merit families that are noted for high genomic indexes, functional type and excellent health, fertility and milk components. We currently have more than 10 heifers in the TOP 200 PLI heifers in the UK with more due to be born in the Summer of 2020.
We challenge any company in the UK to give better access to the latest embryos from the British Blue/ Belgian Blue heifers and cows we have invested in. These genetics are either home bred, imported or purchased from proven and exciting cow families with several generations of quality breeding and correctness built into the genes.
