Just before the Highland Show, Benoit Cassart visited the UK for a whistle stop tour of a few North of England farms. It was an opportunity to look at progeny from the Norbreck Genetics/Fabroca partnership as well as a chance to look for potential bulls for the future at Fabroca. We hope you are interested in the feeback from progeny farm visits detailed below.
Benoir also tells us that the first Cyclone calves are now dropping in Belgium - we look forward to seeing how they develop in the coming months.
Visiting the Tweeddale herd....
 
Progeny by Bluegrass Cyclone
Mr Jonathan Watson (Redhead & Watson) Tweeddale herd was a particularly interesting visit to see some of the first Bluegrass Cyclone progeny and a great group of young calves suckling recipient dams. 
We also saw the team destined for the Royal Highland Show - congratulations to them for their winning heifer Tweeddale Enhance, an Empire D'Ochain daughter who took 1st prize and Junior Female Championship. Show report.
Visiting the Sharplaw herd
Mick and Sarah Gamble, based near Kelso, have spent alot of time and effort building up a new herd and are already seeing great results. It's a hill farm where you can see British Blue bulls busy serving Limousin x heifers and producing first class commercial cattle. We saw a very good Empire D'Ochain son from Cowden Blueberry (an embryo purchased from Norbreck Genetics) - Sharplaw Engineer.
