Boomer Witney has had great success in the show ring this year with Championships at the Royal and Royal Welsh, plus a host of county shows. A January 2004-born daughter of Cubitus du Pre Rosine out of the Ubidet-sired cow Fabriole, she has now joined our Norbreck herd in Lancashire.

She was an obvious choice to add to our portfolio” said Phil Halhead, Managing Director of Norbreck Genetics. “We are excited at the opportunities to breed from her and have already had several requests for embryo’s” he added.

One of the first daughters of Dafydd D’Ochain to be offered for sale in the UK, she was the first by him out of the great cow Leverhulme Nimbus, thereby making her a half-sister to Tamhorn Sumo.

Showing great width, depth and overall style, this February 10th-born blue roan calf was a much admired prior to sale. Furious bidding led to Adam Neachell securing her at 8,700 guineas for his Cromwell herd.

The quality of young heifers was excellent, but Tamhorn Anastasia stood out” said Phil Halhead, Managing Director of Norbreck Genetics. “We were delighted to see one of Dafydd D’Ochain’s first daughters do so well in the sale ring, and are excited by the number of calves we have seen. He is a great height improver and is currently being well used for embryo work.”
