Comments made earlier regarding the inspection at Chelford were not meant as any personal criticism of the Inspectors - they were intended to spark a debate on the process. Norbreck Genetics apologies for any unintended offence.
There was a genuine buzz at Chelford and it was very encouraging to see cattle selling so well on the back of a good beef trade in general. It was obvious that some buyers went home without the bull they were looking for, which bodes well for the Carlisle Sale in May.
Congratulations to the Bellas family who had a great day in the show ring. Their Dafydd D'Ochain daughter took Female Champion and sold for 5,000gns.
