Philip Halhead judges NIBBC Calf Show at the
new Moira Sales Arena in Northen Ireland
The four classes at the NIBBC Calf Show included some of the most eye catching Belgian Blue young stock around – with the number and quality of cattle surpassing expectation.
Sponsored and judged by Norbreck Genetics, Managing Director Philip Halhead said “It was an honour to select the winners as the calves on show were a credit to the province’s breeders.”

Young Irish Handlers are at the way forward
To grow interest in the Belgian Blue breed it is important to develop young members at an early stage – this is something that Norbreck Genetics is keen to build on within the Belgian Blue network . The Northern Ireland Club is no exception, and with a total of nineteen young handlers taking part in the event, competition was strong.
