NORTHERN IRELAND BLUE CATTLE CLUB SHOW AND SALE
The Northern Ireland Blue Cattle Clubs’ inaugural show & sale at the Moira Sales Arena saw a near full clearance, with over two thirds of the purchases, finding homes in the Republic.
It was Dafydd D'Ochain sons that took the two top prices on the day for Andrew Craig, and overall, breeders were well pleased with the bull average being £320 up on last year.
Leading the prices at 4550gns was“Woodview Collon ET” from Andrew Craig. Collon went home with Johathan Adams, Bellaghy, Co. Londonderry.
Second top price bull on the day was also from Andrew with“Woodview Cash ET”, a son of “Dafydd D’Ochain” out of “Woodview Witchy”. Cash stood second in his class and was sold to Michael Glynn, Kilwara, Co Galway for 3,580 gns.
