Dafydd D'Ochain daughters are a real success in the show ring ...
At Carlisle in May, there were a number of Dafydd D'Ochain bulls around and they averaged well over £1,000 more than the overall bull average. As the summer show season gets under way, Norbreck Genetics is delighted to see daughters of Dafydd D'Ochain doing very well too. Only last week Croftends Black Beauty took Overall Champion at The Highland Show and then this week.......
Double honours as Springfield Anastasia wins Cheshire Show Championship for second successive year

Handler Ian Lancaster, judge Rhys Jenkins and Deirdre Wilkinson
Congratulations to Allan and Deirdre Wilkinson. To win a major show championship is very rewarding - doubly so when you win it two years in succession. Judge Rhys Jenkins awarded Springfield Anastasia the overall championship this year validating what last year's judge Andy Ryder said,"She is very correct with confirmation, style and sweetness".
Anastasia is a 30 month-old heifer by Dafydd D’Ochain out of Ovatie van De Wolvendreef . She took the Intermediate Female red ticket and went on to become Supreme Champion and Exhibitor Bred Champion on the first day of the Cheshire County Show.
In addition to the success at Cheshire, this young heifer has also taken championhips at The North West Club Calf shows.
This years show season could see some serious Dafydd D'Ochain competition. To keep you up to date with the best performing Norbreck sired progeny we are updating our Breeders Gallery to feature show winners of 2007. If you have a picture please email it to us at info@norbreckgenetics.com
