There was a great turnout of breeders for the postponed British Blue Society show which was linked to the Border British Blue Club calf show and the sale of cattle from the Bringlee herd.

Male and female champions by Norbreck sires:
Ridge Dean Dynamo - Supreme Champion and sold for 9,000gns
The limelight was stolen by Ridge Dean Dynamo ET, an Empire D'Ochain son out of Ridge Dean Jessie. He was Supreme Champion on the day and later sold for 9,000gns to
NG Beveridge of Tow Law, Co.Durham.
The second 9,000gn and equal top price also came from the Ridge Dean herd of Michele Wilde and was also an Empire D'Ochain son - Ridge Dean Delta was an outstanding modern bull showing tremendous growth and style, selling to Cumbrian enthusiast SG Benson of Pennington, Ulverston.

Woodview D Best ET by Empire D'Ochain 1st and sold for 7,800gns
Impressing Philip Halhead was another Empire D'Ochain son from Andrew Craig - Woodview D Best ET. This stylish well built bull stood first in his class and also impressed Richard Carter from the Twyning Ash herd. He took the bull home for 7,800gns.
Empire bulls made for 40% more than the overall bull average
Michelle Wilde had three Empire sons selling for 5,500gns, and two at 9,000gns. Andrew Craig sold two sons for 6,200gns and 7,800gns.
These Empire bulls averaged 7,800gns that's £8,190 - a great result on the day and 40% more than the overall bull average on the day at 4,750gns average (£4,985) .
Leading the way with Female Champion was an Irish heifer by Tamhorn Sumo from Dermot and Gareth Small. Strathearn Cinderella ET was shown by Richard Rettie and took first prize before taking the Overall British Blue Championship. She was later sold to Alan Barnes from the Cowden Herd for 4,800gns.
