Tamhorn Daffodil, a daughter of Tamhorn Sumo, took Female Championship and Overall Championship at the September show and Sale of British Blue Cattle at Chelford.
This January 2008 heifer is out of Hazelwood Wanda and was described by Phil Halhead as a very smart and upstanding heifer - a clear winner on a day that presented judge Andy Ryder with an average show of cattle. Daffodil was later sold for 4,300gns to Andrew Vince from Lutterworth in Leicestershire.
Daffodil was a member of the progeny team that won at Agri Expo in november 08 when Danny and Jane took their youngsters to the Carlisle show.

Leading the female trade was the 5,000 gns bid for John Mawers Hawthorne Dotty Com. This heifer by Daffyd D'Ochain was shown successfully this summer. Out of the great show cow Immediate ET 2840 De Mehogne she was bought by Messrs Taylor, Belper, Derbyshire.
