Congratulations to The Raine family who had a fantastic show of British Blue's at the Great Yorkshire Show 2009.

Approaching two years old, Bluegrass Centrefold and Bluegrass Catherine are both full sisters to Bluegrass Cyclone. They stood first and second in a strong heifer class and continue their winning form on the 2009 show circuit.

Centrefold continued her success by taking Junior Heifer Champion before clinching the Female Championship and Reserve Overall Championship.

"This heifer is maturing into a show stopping female and her full sister is winning shows. This strengthens our hopes for our new bull BLUEGRASS CYCLONE to breed the consistency in quality that breeders are looking to improve."

The two stunning sisters formed part of the winning group of three animals(bred by the exhibitor) and pair of animals sired by the same sire.

Messers Barnes(Cowden) enjoyed a very creditable day with two Dafydd D'Ochain coming second in the Pair of animals sired by the same sire. "Giving away a lot of age to fellow exhibits these two heifers look like making a mark as they mature and grow into older heifers".   Phil Halhead
