Top honours at the Border British Blue Autumn Show and Sale went to Ballyhossett Duke - an April 08 son of Empire D'Ochain. This young bull won the strongest class of the day, with another Empire D'Ochain son in second place and a Dafydd D'Ochain son takling fourth.
Ballyhossett Duke went on to win Male Championship before taking Supreme Championship. He was equally as successfull in the show ring, reaching top price on the day selling for 10,500gns.
This summerr Duke took Supreme Championship at Castlewllan Show - one of the best shows of British Blue cattle to be seen with over 70 entries - it was Duke's only summer show appearance.
Michelle Wilde's Empire D'Ochain son Ridge Dean Dynamite ET stood second to Duke in his class and was also the third highest price animal on the day making 7,000gns.
