The end of the British Blue sale at Carlisle saw four yong Empire calves sold with recipients. These calves were long and showed great promise for the future. 4 calves with recipients averaged 2,325 gns

JF & C Saunders had a great day at Carlisle with one heifer making top price and this smart, spotted daughter of Dafydd D'Ochain taking second prize and selling to Ken Hill at his Kenray herd in Lanarkshire for 3800gns.
This heifer was much admired around the sale ring and we wish the Kenray herd great success with her.
