Prize winners and high prices for Dafydd and Union Jack stock

at the Border Belgian Blue Show and Sale

It was one of the best attended events at Carlisle and there were a number of Dafydd D'Ochain bulls and heifers forward for the show and sale. Whilst trade was 'up and down' a pattern did emerge - class winners sold well. This was good news for the Dafydd D'Ochain progeny that stood at the top of the line in Fridays show - and also for progeny of our latest addition - Blue Stone Union Jack.

Reviewing the averages at the end of the day, Dafydd D'Ochain bulls averaged £5,302 (5,050gns) compared to the overall bull average of 4,174gns - that's over £1,000 more
