This month's Agri Expo at Carlisle saw the Border British Blue Calf Show take place. Jointly sponsored by Norbreck Genetics we are pleased to congratulate Kevin Watret for his win with Solway View Caesar (full brother to Volkawagon) and to the team from Tamhorn who travelled home with the Norbreck Genetics trophy for most points.
This October 07 born full brother to Bringlee Volkawagon stood at the top of the line for judge Brian Wheatley who noted him for excellent legs and feet, mobility and muscle quality.

There were some impressive calves on show for the progeny classes, which included Dafydd D'ochain, Empire D'Ochain and Tamhorn Sumo.
The day most definitely went to Danny & Jane Wyllie and Tamhorn Sumo! Two Tamhorn Sumo daughters took first place: The first was Tamhorn Daffodil ET (2nd in her class) and the second Tamhorn Deidre ET (1st in her class).

The reserve progeny group also went to two Tamhorn Sumo (SR) bred calves shown by Danny & Jane. The first was Tamhorn Cosmos ET (2nd in his class), and the second, Tamhorn Duke ET (1st in his class).
It was quite fitting that the new Norbreck Trophy went to Danny and Jane for most points on the day. Pictured at top is
