Adding to a growing demand for Longhorn genetics, thanks to The Buitelaar Group having secured a market for Longhorn calves from dairy cows, we have added yet another impressive Longhorn bull to the portfolio.
Riverlands Rarebit, a bull used widely with huge success in Bertie Facon’s Gentons herd, is now available through Norbreck Genetics.
Having visited the Gentons herd which is based in Banbury, Norbreck Genetics director Philip Halhead has been greatly impressed with the herd. “The work Bertie and stockman Ben have done to develop this herd has been outstanding and the progeny speak for themselves. This bull has great length, calving ease and natural fleshing ability, a real modern example of the breed.”
You can view Rarebit’s full pedigree here and as ever, enquiries for Rarebit semen can be made via both Philip Halhead on 07949 733747 or Sally Lloyd on 07805 626155.
